Random Facts about me you may not know… ready, set, go!

 

1. I like to eat my tacos “sin nada,” aka PLAIN.

I am not a big fan of onions or cilantro. The only thing I put on my tacos is LIMON. My cousins always look at me weird when I get my tacos, like almost appalled.

2. Oh yeah I don’t like SPICY Salsa or extra spicy food in general.

I get this all the time, “Aren’t you Mexican though?” Yes, I am Mexican and I don’t like spicy stuff. My mouth is like on fire anytime I try something and I personally don’t think it’s worth it. I would much rather enjoy my food in peace.

3. So I don’t like spicy stuff but I love Hot Cheetos. Is that weird? Well the real random fact is how I eat them.

I really like to take my time when I eat them so it takes me forever to finish a small bag. The first thing I do is lick all of the chili, then I bite off the edges of the cheeto, and finally eat the rest. LOL Weird I know

4. I get car sick almost all the time.

I can’t really be on my phone or read something in the car because I eventually feel really sick. It happens with anyone too it doesn’t matter if its a good or bad driver.

5. I never wax or thread my eyebrows professionally.

Both make my skin react badly. I only pluck on my own and I seriously don’t do a very good job at it.

6. I used to be a cheerleader in middle school.

Can you see me being a cheerleader?? Well I was and I actually really enjoyed it. I totally wanted to join cheer in high school but I was in sports so it wouldn’t work out.

7. I was a beauty pageant queen once upon a time.

I have mentioned this a couple times on my stories but figure I would include it. My title was Srita Zacatecas and I won when I was 18! Both my parents were born & raised in Zacatecas and I represented the small town they grew up in! The whole pageant was in spanish and I had to deliver two 3-4 minute speeches. I was fortunate to be able to travel the state of Zacatecas on an all expense paid 10 day trip after I won! Oh yeah, I also received a $3,000 scholarship which went straight to tuition.

8. I like doing adventurous things but not where I have a complete control.

It’s hard to explain but I’ll try my best. For example, I went skydiving and loved it! I would do it again in a heartbeat! But lets say riding ATV’S in the mountains, and I was not a happy camper. I did it for my husband as a birthday gift but I was so scared of driving or crashing. If I was in the passenger seat I would have been fine because then it’s out of my control. I know, I’m weird.

9.  I grew up being very sporty.

I started playing soccer when I was really young and played all through out my childhood.  Cross country was also my thing in elementary school and was extremely competitive, basically won 1st place almost every race! If you look at me now I feel like you would never guess that I was athletic since I’m always in dresses and flirty outfits.

10. I planned my 10 year high school reunion last month!

Boy was it a mission to put it together but so happy with the turn out. And on that note, yes its been 10 years since I graduated LOL.
