So I wanted to update all of you on my progress using my Bikini Body Game Plan. I will talk about what worked, and what I want to adjust for the remaining two weeks before I head out to Cabo!

If you have not checked out my Bikini Body Game Plan, please check it out HERE!!

It would be helpful for you to check it out so you know exactly what I did over the past four weeks!

Disclaimer: Everything outlined in this blog post and the previous bikini body game plan is simply to share my experience. I am not a licensed nutritionist or certified personal trainer. These things work for me but may not work for other people so please do your own research and consult your doctor before taking on a new nutrition plan/work out plan.

Work Out Plan:

I planned to do fasted cardio 5 x a week for the entire 4 weeks and I want to be honest with you, that did not happen!

The first 2 weeks of the program I was able to do it but I fell off after that. I still did fasted cardio but only for maybe 2-4 days out of the week.

It became difficult to set aside 2 different times to work out.

I did maintain my HIIT workout cycle and the only part I didn’t fully commit was doing something active on Saturday’s.

What I plan to change:

For the next two weeks I will be doing my normal workout and add cardio after. I just want to get it over with in one shot!

I will also be increasing my cardio sessions for these next 2 weeks to 45 minutes for at least 4 days!!

Nutrition Plan:

My main goal was to be more on top of my protein intake, drinking my gallon of water everyday, and staying on track through the weekends!

I made an extra effort to supplement with plenty of protein shakes through out the day if I wasn’t getting enough protein in. I went through periods where I literally didn’t want to chew my protein, not sure why LOL.

Weekends of course is always super difficult but I did try my best. I did indulge a little bit when my cousins visited from Texas for Cinco De Mayo. I had one beer and a couple Mimosas that weekend, but other then that I have not had any alcohol.

Since eating healthy is a lifestyle for me, I do like to follow 80/20. 80% healthy and 20% all the other stuff.

What I plan to change:

I will be trying Carb Cycling for the remainder two weeks guys! So I will be trying to increase my protein a little, and will do a cycle of low carbs with a day of higher carb intake.

If you want to read more on Carb Cycling, please click HERE!

I will do 4 low carb days and cycle that with 1 high carb day. I will repeat this cycle until about June 1st.

For my Low Carb days I will do .25 grams per pound of body weight.

For my High Carb days I will do 1.5 grams per pound of body weight.

Supplements:

I will not be changing anything in this area. I will continue to have protein shakes, women’s vitamins that I am loving you can find HERE, fish oil that I take you can find HERE, and L carnitine that you can find HERE!

 Bikini Body Progress Pictures:

There are so many days where I feel like I have made little progress but looking back at pictures really does help. I have an unhealthy habit of comparing my progress to someone else and that usually ends up making me feel like I’m not doing enough. Every one has a different journey and people change physically in different ways. Your 3 month progress can look drastically different then someone else that has also been working out/eating healthy for 3 months.

I know we all do it but the more you focus on your own journey the easier that it becomes. I still have progress that I need to make but I am so proud of how far I have come!

I completely forgot to take pictures at the beginning of my Bikini Body Game Plan so instead I decided to show more of an overall progress!

It’s been real.
